01Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these terms. If you use CloakPic for an organization or on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify the service operator if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

02The service

CloakPic provides private image upload, face-detection assistance, editable masks, batch processing, previews, and image exports. Features, limits, supported formats, and availability may change as the service evolves.

Face detection and masking can be incomplete or inaccurate. You must inspect the entire exported image—including faces, reflections, documents, screens, location clues, and other sensitive details—before publishing or sharing it.

03Your content

You retain ownership of your images and other content. You grant the CloakPic operator a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transform, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload, edit, and share your content, including any consent required from people shown in an image.

04Acceptable use

Do not use CloakPic to break the law; infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; harass or exploit anyone; distribute malware; evade access controls; probe or disrupt the service; automate abusive requests; or upload content you are not permitted to process.

Do not rely on CloakPic for emergency, safety-critical, biometric-identification, legal-compliance, or other high-risk decisions. The service masks visible areas of an image; it does not establish consent or make publication lawful.

05Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is incorporated into these terms. You are responsible for reviewing it before using the service.

06Deletion and suspension

You may delete images or close your account using the available controls. Access is removed from your account immediately after the request.

The service operator may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, respond to legal requirements, investigate misuse, or enforce these terms. Where appropriate, reasonable notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue may be provided.

07Third-party services

Optional identity or email features may depend on third-party providers and their terms. CloakPic is not responsible for third-party services, networks, or devices outside its control.

08Availability and warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You are responsible for keeping your own copy of important images. CloakPic is not a backup service, and uninterrupted storage or recovery of content is not guaranteed.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the CloakPic operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your local law may provide additional rights.

10Changes and contact

We may update the service or these terms. The updated date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Continuing to use CloakPic after revised terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
